What is a Teen Advisory Board?
A TAB is a group of teens that volunteer their time to brainstorm new ideas for the library in order to better serve their community. A TAB member will develop their leadership skills while planning and organizing programs and outreaches for their peers. They will also network in the community and act as ambassadors for the library. TAB members make suggestions to the library for reading and audio materials and provide feedback about all things teen-related.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Security Public Library Teen Advisory Board is to help improve the activities at Security Public Library with new ideas and feedback. TAB also helps run and set up these activities.
